Giving Kitchen

Giving Kitchen (GK) provides emergency assistance to food service workers through financial support and a network of community resources. Since inception, GK has served over 24,000 food service workers by distributing over $13.6 million in financial assistance and providing over 75,000 Stability Network referrals. 

GK is experiencing an unprecedented volume of asks for help due to the devastation caused by recent Hurricanes Helene and Milton – even greater need than what we saw during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. In fact, we're receiving applications for assistance at four times the rate we expect for this time of year.

Today, your donation will make an immediate difference in the lives of food service workers whose homes and livelihoods have been devastated by the storms. Even $50 can pay a utility bill for a client in need – that's impact that matters! 

All Giving Tuesday donations for will be matched up to $10,000 thanks to a generous donation from Iris and Bruce Feinberg, part-time residents of Western, NC, who have seen the impact of the storms first-hand. Your dollars for disaster relief will be doubled, going even further for those recovering from disaster. The Feinberg's generosity is heartfelt and deeply personal – together we are making a difference in the lives of food service workers.
